Happiness is not only about increasing positive emotions, but merely about finding meaning"

What is Positive Psychology?
Over the last 5 decades, the field of psychology has mainly focused on understanding, modeling and healing mental distress and disorder rather than on promoting human flourishing and increasing wellbeing.
The Positive Psychology movement, founded by Professor Martin Seligman of the University of Pennsylvania, has engaged in the scientific exploration of human wellness and optimal functioning to help people not only mend what is broken, but merely to expand their potential and thrive.
"The scientific exploration
of human wellness
and optimal functioning."
The key tenets of Positive Psychology focus on increasing human flourishing through cultivating positive emotions, engagement, positive relationships, meaning and achievement.
Within this context, I aim at promoting the contact with Nature, and demonstrating its power as a ressource to help people bestowe and flourish.
